Rogueing

Rogueing is what we call “weeding” an agricultural crop.   Amongst the plants that are supposed to be growing there is often a weed that is just taking advantage of nicely fertilised soil.  Our rogueing teams go out to a field and carefully work their way through the crop picking out the “rogues” – sometime black grass, wild oats, or others.  Their work greatly increases the quality and yield of the crop and so rogueing is a job for heroes!  Have you got what it takes to be a Van Stomp weed warrior?    If so, we would love to hear from you.  You could work for between two weeks and two months.
