Key Duties and Responsibilities

Organization and control of all staff assigned to work on their line

Run Production lines trained

Achieve a line efficiency of 85% on a consistent and ongoing basis across the various products, machine combinations being run

Liaise with technical department to help with machine set-ups

Monitor and maintain product quality in accordance with standards set by QA department and customers

Complete necessary paperwork as required for product start-ups and on going control and monitoring

Clear re work as produced

Control waste and re work to a level of less than 5% of production

Maintain work areas in a clean and tidy way in compliances with hygiene, housekeeping audits

Complete administrative paperwork as required for company reporting procedures

Additional work identified as necessary for the operation of the business

Ability to lead and develop a small team

Good communication skills

Good written and spoken English
